RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE MEDICAL BILLER:

The Medical Biller will review medical billing for coding accuracy

The Medical Biller will resolve billing issues by working with providers to ensure all services are billed

Process billing in the system and follow up on errors/denials

Assist with collecting payment from payers

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE MEDICAL BILLER:

CPC-A, RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CCS-P, CPC-H, or CPC designations are highly-beneficial

The Medical Biller should have industry experience with Medicaid and knowledge of CPT

Experience with AllScript is a plus but not a must
